"America: The Last Best Hope, Vol. 3"

I just finished reading "America: The Last Best Hope, Vol. 3" by William J. Bennett.  Never having read any other books by the author and being fascinated by history, I was excited to receive this book.

"America: The Last Best Hope, Vol. 3" covers American history from the "collapse of communism to the rise of radical Islam" and the presidencies of Geroge H.W. Bush through Barack Obama.  It's a lot of territory to cover but Mr. Bennett does it in a way that is interesting.  Although in places it is obvious where Mr. Bennett's loyalties lie, I read the book not feeling like I was being spewed propaganda.  Also, there was interesting insight to some events that I had not been aware of at the time.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys history and am looking forward to reading the two previous volumes.
