"Torn"

Have you ever experienced a hurt that left you wondering "Why?"  You are not alone.  That seems to be the first question we ask when something bad happens to us.

In Jud Wilhite's book "Torn", he helps those who are hurting on their journey to healing.  Healing starts with turning those hurts over to God.  Mr. Wilhite also dispells a few misconceptions about why people have difficulties or even tragedies in their lives (i.e. Job).  He reminds us that all we have, whether it is people in our lives or stuff we possess, it is all on loan from God.  What God does with it is a matter of trust on our parts.  In addition, at the end of the book is a very helpful study guide that you can use with each chapter for personal examination.  That study guide makes this book an even more helpful tool to healing a hurting heart.

I found this book easy to read and the stories shared to be helpful in enhancing Mr. Wilhite's talking points.
